Privacy Policy

FlowCalm Last updated: October 3, 2026

This page lists exactly what FlowCalm keeps, what leaves your device, and who receives it.

1. Data Stored on Your Device

FlowCalm has no account and no sign-up. It stores your data locally on your device and does not upload it to any server of ours:

The only data that leaves your device is described in sections 2 and 3, and in section 9 if Cheer is switched on.

2. Subscriptions & Payments (Apple, Google, RevenueCat)

PRO subscriptions are bought through the Apple App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). We never see your payment details. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play settings.

FlowCalm uses RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives:

RevenueCat never receives your tasks, focus history or the name you typed. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies apply to purchases made through their stores.

3. Voice Input (Microphone & Speech Recognition)

FlowCalm asks for microphone and speech recognition permission only when you add a task by voice. Your speech is turned into text by Apple's speech recognition (iPhone) or your device's speech service (Android), which may send the audio to Apple or Google for processing. FlowCalm does not record or store audio; it keeps only the task text you save. If you never use voice input, nothing is sent.

4. Notifications

With your permission, the app sends local notifications (streak reminders, task reminders). They are scheduled on your device; no server is used.

5. Analytics & Advertising

FlowCalm contains no advertising and no third-party analytics tools. Your statistics are calculated on your device. The only usage detail that leaves the device is the screen name sent to RevenueCat when the subscription page opens (section 2).

6. Children's Privacy

FlowCalm is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data via Profile > Reset Data within the app. Uninstalling the app also removes all local data. To ask about data held by RevenueCat for your anonymous ID, email us at the address below.

9. Cheer (Optional)

Cheer is an optional feature in the app's Profile tab. In the current app versions it is not yet switched on and makes no connection. Once it is, and only if you open it and accept its one-time explainer, FlowCalm creates an anonymous ID for you and connects to our server (Supabase) to pair you with another currently-active anonymous user.

Sending a cheer shares only your anonymous ID, the preset encouragement phrase you picked, and a small icon — never your name, tasks, stats, or any free text you write. You never see who you're paired with, and they never see you. If you never open Cheer, none of this applies to you.
